Class description
It’s a guided 10-week journey for beginners who want to feel confident, strong, and safe before joining regular classes. This course is designed for anyone who is new to mat Pilates or wants to return to movement in a safe, supportive way. Over 10 progressive weekend sessions, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the fundamentals of matwork — learning how to move with control, confidence, and proper alignment. Each week builds gently on the last, allowing your body to gain strength, mobility, and awareness without feeling overwhelmed. This is not a drop-in class. It’s a structured program with the same group each week, giving you the chance to learn, ask questions, and truly understand your body. In this course you will: • Learn correct breathing and core activation • Improve posture, balance, and flexibility • Build strength safely from the ground up • Reduce tension in the neck, shoulders, and lower back • Feel confident joining regular mat or Pilates classes All exercises are beginner-friendly with clear options and modifications. No previous experience is required. Perfect for: • Complete beginners • Anyone returning after a break or injury • People who want a slower, more educational introduction to matwork By the end of the 10 weeks, you’ll feel stronger, more connected to your body, and confident moving forward in your Pilates journey.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations for group classes need to be made more than 6-hours prior to class commencement to avoid forfeiting your session. Cancellations for private studio sessions need to be made more than 8-hours prior to the session commencement to avoid forfeiting your session. A ‘Late Cancel’ is defined as cancelling a booked session within the 6 or 8 hour period. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, however as there are limited spaces available, we need to enforce fair and consistent standards. Cancelling a session will allow wait-listed clients to take your place in the class or appointment. If you are on a membership, penalties may apply, as per the Membership Agreement Terms and Conditions. If you reserve space in a class and do not show up without cancelling online or contacting us directly to cancel, the session will still be deducted from your account. A ‘No Show’ is defined as not attending the booked session. If you are on membership, penalties apply as per the Membership Agreement Terms and Conditions. If a class if full, we offer a waitlist system that is automated to let you know via email and / or text (if you have opted in to receive text notifications) as soon as a space becomes available. When / if another client cancels out, the first person on the waitlist is automatically bumped into the class and will receive an email and / or text notification. All sessions at Soul stretch must be booked online prior to attending Bookings cannot be used by anyone other than that person booked into the class. Class Passes will activate from the date of purchase.
